What does BuildVision AI do?
BuildVision AI is a plugin that runs inside AutoCAD together with a connected web platform. It reads the vector geometry of a DWG file, checks the drawing against building codes, derives quantities and an estimate, and builds a spatial model from the plan. The result comes back in the AutoCAD window itself.
Does it see the drawing as an image or as geometry?
As geometry. The system is not limited to a PDF screenshot: layers, polylines, blocks, text and dimension objects are taken directly from AutoCAD. A dimension therefore comes from the actual value on the drawing rather than being guessed from a picture.
Which building codes does it check against?
The Uzbek building code families SHNQ and QMQ. Every finding carries the code, the clause number and a verbatim quotation, so it can be checked against the source. The system only cites norms that exist in its own corpus.
Which AutoCAD versions are supported?
AutoCAD 2015 and later on Windows. Once the plugin is installed, type BVCHAT on the command line — there is no need to close or export the drawing.
Can I trust the result completely?
No, and we do not hide it. BuildVision AI does not replace a specialist; it is a checking tool in their hands. Every finding is shown with its source, and where the system could not read something the report says "not checked" rather than "compliant". The final decision belongs to the designer and the reviewing authority.
Do my drawings stay confidential?
Yes. Files stay within your organisation, are not visible to other customers, and are not used to train models.
How is the estimate calculated?
Quantities are derived from the drawing geometry: wall lengths, room areas, openings and so on. Each line shows which object it came from, so an estimator can verify and edit it.
What does it cost?
Registration is free and no payment is required to start. Work is measured in credits; current pricing is shown inside your account.
Which languages does it work in?
The interface and the answers are available in Uzbek, Russian, English and Kazakh. Drawing annotations may be in Cyrillic or Latin script — both are read.
